Thank you so much for this all skate and no b.s. video! It's so hard to find a video that's all about the actual surf skating and not the music/"vibe". The flow was real and relatable. Loved it.

Dana is such a fun skate spot
So Great @ Sk8 !!!
Bravo!
Best surfskate ina market ! Big up ,enjoy mine all day !!! Aloha 🤙
This looks so cool😎
I can’t believe what I’m seeing here. I see tons of not very impressive looking 360s on SurfSkates that aren’t really 360s because they’re done in 2 stages. This is amazing
Finally, someone who knows how to put this into words
Amazing I'm getting one for Christmas 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
as a hybrid camo owner for over 6 months I can say that yes!, there is no speed wobble. But imagine hitting a rock that the 70mm wheels do not roll over and then the truck pivots. it is not fun. all that said this is the MOST fun board I have ridden
Вот просто реально красавчик
Laguna, my love.
What is model bmw?
That’s so sick🤙🏼
Anda muito 👏👏👏🤙
What a fun day
Awesome style and technique by Martin!
We were doing this in the early , early 80’s. We could not buy a commercial board. We had to make our own. Braking in things is old skool. Now 50 yrs old and still styling on a variety of board styles and makes. All the best mate🤙🏼
tell me all about it!! :O im 16 and i find the history of skating rllyrlly cool :3
MUST HAVE - damn it cool - without step paddle
elegant is something else
Lovely movement, but a shit tutorial that was way too fast and didnt cover any details at all. More like a show-off reel than anything
Props to the camera dude
anyone tried drilling out the old style axel holes to fit new mag springs?

lets be honest the best part about this was that vintage BMW... damn those things are pretty.

Sick video! What setup would you suggest for a beginner to discover this sport? Much love from Canada!
Hey there, all of our boards are designed to be the top surf cross-trainer. When choosing which board, we recommend a board based on your height, so that the wheelbase will properly match your surf stance. How tall are you?
@@SurfskateIndustries I'm almost 6feet but I'm teaching sports to people of all ages. We should talk in private. 🤟 Thanks for answering

blew my mind with that 180! I gotta get back on my board
Wondering if anyone who uses these can answer a question for me. This truck design seems very similar to what Original longboards used a while ago. I remember people being stoked on those but when they came out they were a nightmare to skate. I am a skater who has only surfed maybe 10 times so maybe the issue is that my perspective is different but I always felt like these designs tried to solve a problem that didn't exist. Imo if you want a really carve heavy, flowy set up your best bet is a set of loose aces with a wide deck, that way you can literally carve in a circle if you want to but you're not constantly wobbling to the point where it's uncomfortable. It seems like with all these spring style trucks they start with something that is almost unusable then every alterations brings the function closer to a regular truck with a worse design that makes what you can do with it a lot more restrictive. So my question is with all due respect what can this do that a cruiser set up with either loose aces or inverted king pin slappy's can't? Because imo this design is a version of something that already exists with the exception that it restricts the amount of stuff you can do with it. What am I missing? Genuinely not trying to hate at all, I am just curious what the appeal is.
I didn't want to answer you before I also tried Yow boards., hence my edit. This weekend I rented a Yow board and I also had a Globe Reverse Kingpins board in the past. These boards are more stable and are great city cruisers, deal more easily with pebbles. The reason I love Swelltech so much(more), is that this particular truck design is very good. It really feels more like surfing. The movement is more flowy instead of linear. Swelltech doesn't get boring for me, the learning curve adds joy. Also you can carve uphill so easily. Reverse Kingpin boards are easy to ride, you can do tricks on and are great, but they lack that pure surf feeling. Swelltech has that pure surf feeling (for me at least).
